Growing Your FB page – Like Campaign

After we choose a good niche for our FB page, now it is time to start the Like Campaign..
Our Example – Arnold Swarzenegger Motivation – FB page started as a case study for this course.

Our aim here is to get pure USA based audience, so we can get the biggest revenue numbers from Adsense and Facebook Instant Articles.

Let’s see some FB like campaigns for this FB page – VIDEO PRESENTATION

 

You can see that the combined result for one campaign is 4 cents per Like and the other one is 5 cents per Like. The targeting is the same in both cases. But when you get into the account the organic likes and engagement of the audience, you see that the combined number is more like $0.03 per Like.

The total Ad Spend is $403 and Total number of Likes is 12 500.

 

So, the real number we paid is $0.03 per Like. (403/12500)

How was It achieved? We got many organic likes…We used engaged and laser-targeted audience.

Another example on a FB page I owned, (Lesson 43,47) I have this one recorded in a video in Macedonian language, but this will be a good example of what kind of Cost per Like can you achieve, when you target the right and engaged audience.

When going for a Page Likes Campaign, it is imperative that you choose more images (4-6) and let Facebook optimize and choose which one is the best performing (more results for less ad spend). FB will then then use the best performing image for the next period.

In fact, when you start the FB campaign, you need to allow it to run atleast for the next 48 hours before judging for its performance. This will give FB time to optimize and find the best audience for your ad. As a result, you will get way lower price per LIKE. This is called Ad Maturing.

Ad Maturing also takes place on every FB campaign, no matter what the end result is – Likes, Engagement, Conversions, Link Clicks…just remember this. Just give time to Facebook to optimize.

Also, when choosing an image for FB Like Campaigns, (and all other FB ads), you can get better results if you choose images with colors opposite of those already present on FB – blue/white, so choosing images with red, orange, green, pink and other bright color will generally do better job in increasing the Click-Thru and overall results. FB will award you with more results and lower price.

BONUS TIP: You can make a border on the image used in ads in one of these colors…it will stand out and get attention.

BONUS TIP #2: Images with people facing the user screen – woman face for example, does a good job, too…

Here Is One Very Nice Example:  -- Please take a look at the text in post, this text is used in a regular Boost Post, no a Like Campaign, but it is a good example…Funny wording can deliver great result.

 

BONUS TIP #3: Always include Call to Action – “Like” our Page, Join Us, Cecome a Fan, Join Our Page, Support Him and Like His Page…you need to tell people what to do! Maybe even give them a reason to Like the page….as I have shown in the examples above and will show in the next examples.

GIVE THEM A REASON TO LIKE THE PAGE, but be careful to respect FB rules, and not address the FB ad audience directly.

BuzzSumo – the famous tool for Social Media research -- I recommend it wholeheartedly. It is so useful, we use it daily and they keep improving it and adding new options regularly. Be sure to buy the Agency version of the BuzzSumo, and you can share it with 10 more members of your team or share with other friends and split costs.

Especially useful is the FB Analyzer – it allows you to research particular FB page, maybe your competitor and see what are the most popular posts in the chosen timeframe. Or you can search by a keyword or phrase – be sure to include it in quotes if it is a phrase.

If you combine this with keywords we need, like – LIKE Our page, Like Our FB page, Share and Like, Like us, Comment…we will get very interesting results and ideas for creating our next ads. We can also use Thesaurus.com and for searching for synonyms for the words.

Even if you don’t have BuzzSumo or want to delay further investment, you can just use FB search and choose POSTS…you will get interesting results, but for more accurate results, choose POSTED BY, TAGGED LOCATION, DATE POSTED…
